ChristmasMood strings festive lights along the top of every display you have. It lives in the menu bar, stays out of your way, and makes December at your desk a little brighter.
Make them yours
- Eighteen bulb shapes. Round bulbs, stars, hearts, bells, gifts, flames, snowflakes, a tree and more.
- Color themes. Classic, warm white, red and green, icy blue or candy cane. Or go custom: tick the colors you want, add any of your own, and the bulbs take turns with them.
- Seven blinking patterns. All together, random, a chase, alternating bulbs or drops, or waves that run out from the center or in from the edges, at whatever speed you like.
- The string itself. Choose the cable’s color and thickness, how far each strand drops and how many lights hang on it. A green or white cable stands out on dark wallpapers.
Lights that react to you
Brush past the bulbs with your pointer and they swing from their sockets, then settle. Switch on fading as well and they go see-through as your pointer comes near, so they never get between you and a menu. You decide how see-through they get.
Off when you need it
Going into a meeting or sharing your screen? Click the lightbulb in the menu bar and turn off Show Lights to hide them, or choose Pause Blinking to keep every bulb steadily on. Open at Login has them waiting each time you log in.
And a surprise
Try the snowflake bulbs.
Setting up
- Unzip the download, move ChristmasMood to your Applications folder and open it.
- A lightbulb appears in the menu bar. Click it and choose Settings… to dress up your lights. If your menu bar is too full to show it, open ChristmasMood again and Settings appears.
